Dr. Mojdeh Faraz, also known as Dr. Megan by her young patients, is a board-certified pediatric dentist serving the wonderful community of Watsonville and surrounding areas. She completed her undergraduate studies in British Columbia, Canada, before moving to New York City, where she earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from NYU. She found her calling for pediatrics over the years in the Big Apple and completed her pediatric specialty training at Jacobi Medical Center.
Dr. Megan is the recipient of the prestigious Richard S. Pugh Achievement Award in recognition of scoring in the top 3% of the Qualification Examination held by the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry, along with the James R. Roche Award of Excellence for achieving the highest score in the nation. When she is not treating patients, Dr. Megan enjoys traveling the world with her husband and her baby boy, reading books, learning French, playing the piano, and harmonizing with nature. Her favorite reads to date are Educated by Tara Westover and A Fraction of the Whole by Steve Toltz.
